Dr Emma Medispa Raises Over £1,000 for Cancer Research

Giving back to our local community is incredibly important to us at Dr Emma Medispa, and we are so proud to share the results of our recent fundraising efforts in support of cancer research.

Taking on the Altrincham 10K

Recently, Dr Clare, Nurse Colette and Samantha laced up their trainers and took on the Altrincham 10K to raise vital funds for cancer research.

The weather certainly wasn't on their side, with plenty of rain along the way, but that didn't stop the team!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our patients, friends, families and local community, together we raised an amazing £1,065.

We are incredibly grateful to every single person who donated, sponsored the team, shared our fundraising and cheered them on. Every contribution helped us reach a total we are extremely proud of.

Supporting cancer research beyond the finish line

Our fundraising didn't stop with the 10K.

We were also delighted to donate a course of treatments from Dr Emma Medispa to a cancer research charity gala held in Manchester.

Our Clinic Manager, Samantha, attended the event with her husband, where the treatment package was included in the evening's live auction. We were thrilled to see it sell successfully, raising further funds for such an important cause.

A cause particularly close to our hearts

Cancer is something that has touched so many of us personally. As a fully medical team, it is also something many of us have encountered throughout our careers working within the NHS.

We understand the enormous impact a cancer diagnosis can have, not only on the individual receiving it but on their family, friends and wider support network.

It makes supporting research into better treatments, earlier diagnosis and improved outcomes particularly meaningful to us.

Giving back as a local business

As a small, independent business in Hale, we feel strongly about doing what we can to support our community and causes that matter to our patients and our team.

We couldn't do things like this without the continued support of the people who choose to come to our clinic.

So, from all of us at Dr Emma Medispa, a huge thank you to everyone who donated, sponsored, supported and sent such lovely messages.

Together, we raised £1,065 through the Altrincham 10K – and helped raise even more through the Manchester charity gala.
