An exciting moment for Dr Emma Medispa in Hale, Cheshire.

We're absolutely delighted to share some very exciting news! Sculptra with Dr Emma Goulding has been named a winner in Tatler's 2026 Treatment Awards.

The Tatler Treatment Awards recognise excellence in the beauty and aesthetics industry, with treatments independently selected by Tatler's expert editorial team based on their experience and expertise.

To have our Sculptra treatment recognised by such a prestigious publication is a real honour, and something we're incredibly proud of.

For those who know me and my approach to aesthetics, you'll know that I've always been passionate about achieving natural-looking results. I want my patients to look refreshed, confident and, most importantly, still like themselves.

This award feels particularly special because Sculptra represents so much of what I believe modern aesthetic medicine should be about: subtle, regenerative treatments that work with your body's natural processes.

What Is Sculptra?

Sculptra is an injectable collagen-stimulating treatment designed to gradually restore facial volume and improve skin firmness. Unlike traditional hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, which provide immediate volume, Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biostimulator that encourages your body to produce its own collagen over time.

Collagen is one of the key proteins responsible for maintaining the skin's structure, firmness and elasticity. As we age, our natural collagen production declines, contributing to changes in facial volume, skin quality and definition.

Sculptra helps address these changes gradually, making it a particularly appealing option for patients looking for natural, progressive rejuvenation rather than an immediate transformation.

Why Do I Love Sculptra So Much?

One of the things I love most about Sculptra is that the results develop gradually.

Rather than creating an obvious change overnight, Sculptra stimulates collagen production over the following weeks and months, helping to restore lost facial volume and improve overall skin structure.

It's particularly useful for patients experiencing:

  • Age-related facial volume loss

  • Hollowing through the temples and cheeks

  • Changes in facial contours

  • Reduced skin firmness

  • A desire for subtle, long-term facial rejuvenation

My approach has always been to assess the face as a whole, rather than treating individual lines or areas in isolation.

Sculptra fits beautifully into this philosophy because it allows us to address some of the underlying structural changes associated with ageing.

How Many Sculptra Treatments Will I Need?

At Dr Emma Medispa, we generally recommend a minimum of two Sculptra treatments, spaced approximately 4–6 weeks apart.

Some patients may benefit from a third session, depending on their age, degree of volume loss and individual treatment goals.

Results develop gradually over several months as new collagen is produced. Following the initial course, we typically recommend a single maintenance treatment approximately every 18 months, although this varies between patients.

Sculptra results can last for up to two years or longer in some patients, making it an appealing option for those looking to invest in longer-term facial rejuvenation.

How Much Does Sculptra Cost in Cheshire?

At Dr Emma Medispa in Hale, our Sculptra treatment courses are priced as follows:

Course of 2 treatments: £925

Course of 3 treatments: £1,495

Your treatment plan will always be tailored to your individual needs following a thorough medical consultation.

Sculptra is not suitable for everyone, and as with any injectable treatment, there are potential risks. We will discuss these fully during your consultation.
